Dr Mavridis is an Assistant Professor of Statistics at the Department of Primary Education in the University of Ioannina in Greece. He has worked in various fields of Statistics including structural equation modeling and Item Response Theory models (PhD studies), forensic statistics (University of Edinburgh) and biostatistics (University of Ioannina). He is now working mainly on biostatistics and his research interests are focused in developing statistical models for network meta-analysis. He has developed models to account for publication bias, missing outcome data, outlying studies and multiple outcomes. He is the co-editor of the ‘Statistics in Practice’ series in the Evidence Based Mental Health journal.
